SOURTOOTH - WALL ART

Sourtooth…

Sourtooth is a pop up Vegan comfort-food Restaurant - Non Alcoholic Bar created Umami Burger founder Adam Fleischman.

Sourtooth’s first and current residency is within the historical Yamashiro’s Hollywood Sunset Bar.

For this project I was commissioned to design all the wall art for the space working alongside Project Manager Courtney Rose.

The wall covering were temporary fixtures on the wall made of wood panels covered in plastic vinyl for that super pop shine. The inspiration given to me to reference was Japanese pop art. However I mashed in the Woodstock Psychedelic Art, The Beatles Yellow Submarine and some 1920’s Art Deco.

The clients wanted a instagrammable mural wall and a repeat wallpaper tile. Both encompassing the same language of design. The finished result is absolute bonkers especially when I asked them to place fake grass on the ceiling. It’s a must see in the flesh. Sourtooth is open Wednesday - Sunday from 5pm-11pm.

The repeat tile.
