Hear historical tales of grit, glamour, and crime as you walk the Strip with the award-winning author of Once Upon a Cocktail. Sip LA-centric drinks at a speakeasy and get a copy of the book.

Katie Brightside teams up with historian Jon Ponder and Bar Next Door’s resident “bar witch” Bryne Smith to unveil a sordid slice of history and its long-standing love affair with drinking. This intimate monthly tour—limited to just 10–15 guests—blends storytelling, cocktails, and a dash of the unexpected.

Participants will enjoy two cocktails, a slice of pizza, and walk away with a keepsake tour brochure and a copy of Once Upon a Cocktail. All of this is available for a limited-time price of just $100 per person.

Tracing the history of addresses along the Strip, pointing out legendary bars from the 1930s on.

3) Sip cocktails at the Bar Next Door

Slip into a speakeasy for two drinks inspired by LA landmarks, mixed by top bartender Brynn Smith.

4) Tinseltown confidential

Snack on Prince St. pizza while historian Jon Ponder spins tales of Hollywood starlets and the mob.

5) Hang out a while
